Privacy Policy

Net Worth Candles (Chinese name 涨记, bundle id com.zsf.networth) is a personal finance app that draws your net worth as a stock-style candlestick chart. It is built and operated by independent developer zhang senfu (2569541858@qq.com).

Nothing. The app has no account system and integrates no third-party analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs. There are no cookies and no tracking. We operate no servers, so we cannot access and will never receive any of your information.

Every account, transaction, category and budget you enter is stored inside the app's sandbox on your own device. By default it never leaves that device.

If you turn on iCloud sync yourself (see the next section), a copy is also stored in your own iCloud so it can sync between your own devices. It does not reach us — we have no server that could receive it.

With iCloud sync off, deleting the app also deletes this data. Please back it up yourself via “Settings → Data backup → Export” in the app before uninstalling or switching devices.

Since version 1.1.0 the app offers optional iCloud sync so you can keep one ledger across iPhone and iPad. This feature is off by default and takes effect only after you turn it on manually under “Accounts → Settings → iCloud sync”. While it is off, the app makes no network requests at all.

Where the data goes: through Apple's CloudKit into the private database of your own iCloud account. That is storage provided by Apple and tied to your Apple Account — not our server, because we have none. As the developer we cannot access its contents. What syncs is the ledger data you see in the app, and nothing else: no device identifiers, no location, no usage behaviour.

Retention and deletion: the data stays in your iCloud until you delete it. When you switch “iCloud sync” off in the app, it also deletes the cloud copy; if that deletion fails — for example because of the network — the app tells you explicitly rather than pretending it succeeded. You can also delete it yourself at any time under system “Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Account Storage”.

Withdrawing consent: just switch it off; no need to contact us. The app then returns to fully offline operation, and your on-device data is unaffected.

Only when you actively use the “Export” feature. The data is handed to the iOS share sheet and goes to a destination you choose yourself (saving a file, sending it to yourself, and so on). You control the whole process; we do not receive, relay or store any of it.

The “Migrate from another app” feature works the same way: the conversion happens between you and the AI you choose, and you paste or import the result into your own device. It never passes through us.

Net Worth Candles integrates no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.

The only external service involved is Apple iCloud (CloudKit), and only when you turn on iCloud sync yourself. It is a service built into your device's operating system, the data sits in your own iCloud account, and it is governed by Apple's privacy policy:apple.com/legal/privacy

The app is rated 4+. It is not designed for children and collects no user information whatsoever, so no children's personal data is involved.
